Which Dice Dragon Are You?

Every adventurer has a dragon somewhere in their soul.

Some players crave the perfect critical hit.
Some prefer a flawless plan.
Some trust instinct, superstition, strategy, or sheer chaotic confidence.
And some just want the prettiest dice in the hoard.

The Dice Dragons are the guardians of our treasure: six opinionated dragons who judge dice, argue about playstyles, approve products, and occasionally offer helpful advice to mortals.

  • Umbrask, the sarcastic survivor?

Your Results

Count your answers and find your Dice Dragon below.

Mostly A: You are Amethystra

Amethystra the Purple Dice Dragon

The Dragon of Fate, Rituals, Strange Dice, and Cozy Magic

You are guided by instinct, atmosphere, and the quiet certainty that some dice simply have a destiny.

Amethystra is cryptic, playful, mystical, and oddly comforting. She loves strange dice, cosmic colours, lucky rituals, soft palettes, iridescent finishes, unusual shapes, and tiny table traditions that become part of the story.

You probably believe certain dice roll better on certain nights.
You may have a comfort set.
You definitely understand that “this one feels right” is a perfectly valid selection method.

At the table, you enjoy mystery, randomness, small details, magical moments, and unexpected outcomes. You are the player who notices the weather, names the tavern cat, invents pre-session rituals, and somehow makes a single trinket feel important.

Mostly B: You are Glacielle

Glacielle the White Dice Dragon

The Dragon of Instinct, Protection, and “Just Roll the Dice”

You are brave, direct, loyal, and much more protective than you may admit.

Glacielle is fierce, instinctive, territorial, and deeply pack-bonded. She may not care for complicated plans, but she absolutely cares about her people. At the table, you are the one who keeps things moving, encourages nervous players, celebrates wins loudly, and makes sure nobody gets left behind.

You do not need a twelve-step plan.
You need a clear target, a handful of dice, and the confidence to act.

Glacielle is especially fond of easy-read dice, icy colours, winter themes, and sets that are simple, clear, and ready for adventure. She is the dragon of new players, bold choices, learning by doing, and protecting the party from both monsters and overthinking.

Mostly C: You are Azuryx

Azuryx the Blue Dice Dragon

The Dragon of Rules, Balance, and Being Technically Correct

You like things to make sense.

Azuryx is precise, logical, rules-minded, and usually correct, which is both useful and deeply irritating to everyone else. You enjoy clever mechanics, tactical choices, balanced encounters, and the quiet satisfaction of making the optimal move.

You may have read the rules.
All of them.
More than once.

At the table, you are the planner, tactician, rules-checker, build-crafter, and person most likely to know exactly how that spell interaction works. You are not trying to ruin the fun. You are trying to make sure the fun is mechanically accurate.

Azuryx favours precision dice, balanced sets, cool colours, blue and silver tones, lightning themes, and anything that feels fair, clever, and beautifully made.

Mostly D: You are Ethelred

Ethelred the Red Dice Dragon

The Dragon of Big Rolls, Bigger Damage, and Absolutely No Subtlety

You are here for the moment.

The critical hit.
The impossible save.
The dramatic entrance.
The glorious disaster everyone remembers for the rest of the campaign.

Ethelred is bombastic, theatrical, competitive, proud, and absolutely convinced that every roll is a test of worth. You love big numbers, bold choices, dangerous fights, heroic nonsense, and dice that hit the table with authority.

You are not subtle.
You are not apologetic.
You may already be rolling for initiative.

Ethelred favours heavy metal dice, sharp-edged sets, red, gold, and black colourways, and anything that looks like it belongs in the hands of someone about to smite a villain into next week.

Mostly E: You are Verdantia

Verdantia the Green Dice Dragon

The Dragon of Schemes, Social Chess, and Winning Before Anyone Notices

You are patient, clever, observant, and probably several moves ahead.

Verdantia is smooth-talking, polite, strategic, and quietly dangerous. She does not need to shout. She does not need to rush. She simply waits, watches, smiles, and wins before anyone realises the game has started.

At the table, you enjoy roleplay, social encounters, clever plans, subtle victories, and the delicate art of making the GM nervous with one well-phrased question.

You may prefer to win without rolling.
But when you do roll, it should be with something elegant.

Verdantia favours green dice, translucent sets, marbled finishes, readable but refined fonts, and dice that look fair while hiding a thousand schemes.

Mostly F: You are Umbrask

Umbrask the Black Dice Dragon

The Dragon of Bad Luck, Grim Stories, and Consequences

You are practical, prepared, sarcastic, and not remotely surprised when everything goes wrong.

Umbrask assumes the worst and plans accordingly. He enjoys grim stories, dangerous choices, gallows humour, bad luck, and the kind of campaigns where rope, rations, and backup plans actually matter.

At the table, you are cautious but not cowardly.
Risk-aware, not risk-averse.
You know the door is probably trapped.
You open it anyway, because that is where the story is.

Umbrask favours matte dice, dark colours, muted tones, minimalist fonts, and sets that look like they have survived a dungeon and would rather not talk about it.
